HI My name is Kelley. This is one of the most difficult things I have EVER had to do. Usually My family is the one that helps others, but now I am at a loss for this years Christmas(2009)and I am reaching out for my children. I am a mother of 6 with a 7th blessing due in March(2010). My husband and I were both in the housing industry 3 years ago, he built them, I sold them! We were doing fine, then our bubble burst. For months we both searched for work.....with no luck. After 8 months my husband was able to get a job for a local thirft store, making minimum wage. With our savings and his income we struggled to make our bills....at the end of last year we knew we had to do something. Pulling all of our resorces and borrowing from family and friends, we started our own business. Things got even worse financialy. We kept the faith, and kept going. Our 6 children were GREAT, we learned that we had done a good job thus far in teaching our children. They didn't ask or want for much(at least we never heard them say anything)! After almost a year our business is starting to do better. However, we are still struggling to repay our debt and make the bills. There is NO EXTRA money. I put up our Christmas tree with the kids about 2 weeks ago. I look at it every night lit, its so pretty they really did a good job. As I sit there thankful that God has pulled us through, I wonder how we will be able to put gifts under it! If there is anyone who would be able to help our family this year.....I would be forever grateful! Thank you!!
